BAIT & SWITCH!
I called the Jenny Craig center in Falls Church, VA yesterday to ask about the different programs and inquire about an online special they had going on. I was told that the person I need to talk to wasn't in and that I should come in tomorrow. She assured me the promotion was still valid and that it had definitely been extended for a while. When I asked when the promo was scheduled to end she said "they haven't told us that yet". She took my name and number and put me on the schedule for 1st thing in the morning the very next day.

So long story short, when I went in this morning the center director told me "the promo literally ended yesterday." but not to worry bc here was another special...not anywhere near the savings coupon I had. When I explained I could have come in yesterday but was told there wasn't anyone there to help me and to come in tomorrow, all she said was "sorry" and there was nothing she could do about it. REALLY? as the center director she couldn't honor the promo given the misinformation i received??? what kind of business are they running? obviously, JC falls church only cares about money and not helping people lose weight.

Also, the "center director" was VERY unprofessional in appearance. She wore bright purple eyeshadow and a huge hello kitty charm hanging from a mr.T type chain around her neck complete w/hello kitty earrings....

I had been on Nutisystems for 2-3 months and lost about 17 lbs - maybe more. I decided to switch to JC for a different choice in Menus. I was on the plan for 1 full month and did not lose 1 single pound after following to to a tee. I called to check for a guarantee/refund - no such thing! I had done great on Nutisystem but just wanted a change...was thinking about trying it again but Nutrisystem is so much more affordable - that is what I will do this time. It is odd, the reason I gain weight is because I do NOT eat, so eating this much food each day was a challenge for me but once I got through the first month of eating all of the Nutrisystem food, I got used to it and began to lose weight. Went right from Nutrisystem to JC - NO results with JC! They almost got me roped in again but I will take advantage of the Nutrisystem Program because I KNOW that it works =)

I work at a Jenny Craig in Orange County Ca. The clients are what makes me proud of what I do there, but the upper management has been changed around several times in the last year and current management are BULLIES plain and simple.

Emphasis is definitely on dollars. It is true that as long as consultants are bringing in the dough they can get away with anything. They will keep dishonest unethical people who bring in lots of cash over hardworking honest people who fall even a little behind in the dollar standards.

You have to bring in at least average of $85 per customer. They call that a food dollar average. And you are expected to sell $500 worth of their junky exercise equipment every month too or you're out in ninety days. We've had customers who have been waiting for their weight loss refunds for months and the company ignores them. This is embarrasing to all of us to try to apologize to customers for refunds. It's out of our control.

I'm looking for another job. I have been there six years and i am not proud of working for them any longer especially with the newest market directors in charge. They stress everyone out, always criticising & threatening our jobs and playing weird mind games on employees. It's very sad.
