I joined Jenny Craig with a life time membership, but was never told there was a "special" going on that could have saved me $200.00, there was minimum counseling, and the food was way more expensive than I told it to be. I feel like I was not told the truth about the whole program and am very dissatisfied with Jenny Craig.

Jenny Craig is too expensive!! They just want to get you in for an appointment and try to get you to purchase the most expensive package.
They say food costs averages around $11-18 a day but mine ended up being around $22 a day. I spent $20 to join for 10 weeks and $155 for one week of food.
They also won't tell you what individual food costs, but I picked what they told me so I can't imagine how to get in in the $11-18 range. Plus you have to add lettuce, milk, veggies and fruit from the grocery store so you end up spending about $200 a week total.

I agree with everyone about the prices at jenny craig being expensive. My initial fee was over $450.00. The food is ok, except the things I really like to eat are only for a season or promotional.
Jenny claims they will have a new selection of food in April 2010. The really good thing is that I went from 198 lbs to 159lbs I look and feel great. Occasionally, I take one or two days within a week to eat something other then Jenny. I wish they had food like Nutrisystem.. from what I see on TV it looks great.
