I was on Jenny craig over a year ago and lost 40 lbs in 6 weeks, i had to stop due to personal reasons i started up again this week and am already down 11 lbs, yes it is on the pricy side but you get what you paid for, i have been to several different centers and have never once seen a consultant in a lab white coat they are all normal dressed ppl just l ike ourselves if you want a dietician or a nutrionist then go see one and pay over 150-200 a visit for him/her to tell you what to do( and doesn;t include food). I loved my consultant in the past and love my consultant now they are great to keep me focused and motivated on my weight loss journey. What they tell me isn't something i dont already know but if we all did what we knew we wouldn't be worrying about which diet works we would all be in the great shape and do it on our own. Not every program works for everyone, the main thing is finding which one does and sticking to it and Jenny has done that for me!!

I have to admit that the plan is expensive but the people I have talked to have been wonderful. I am doing the at home plan and the person I signed up with was very nice and repeatedly asked me if I was comfortable with the cost. I felt no pressure at all, in fact I told him I would have to talk the cost over with my husband and asked if he could call me back in a few days and he had no problem doing that. My counselor is very nice and I have never felt rushed. I think the food is great and the portion sizes are actually bigger than I expected. I have been on the plan for a month and have lost 10 pounds. I have been following it to the letter and have yet to feel hungry or unsatisfied. I looked at the NutriSystem menu and to be honest it didn't look as good to me as Jenny's. However, no matter which plan you choose we are all hoping for the same results, so good luck to all of you! :)

This was my third go-around with Jenny Craig as a client. This time, I went on the 20/20 program (20 lbs for $20). The program lasted 10 weeks. At the end of the 10 weeks I was five pounds shy of 20 pounds, and decided not to continue because it's too expensive ($118 - $160 a week). The last three weeks, I started to cut out some of their food and substitute my own (i.e. breakfasts and snacks). It is true that you are pressured to continuing with the program, but I got what I needed out of it - to jump start my weight loss and to get the formula to follow my own regimen and continue on my weight loss journey. However, if I do find myself slipping and gaining weight again, I'll go to one of their competitors for a lot less money.
