My husband and I went to Jenny Craig and talked to a Rep. The sales pitch was so good that my husband signed me up for the lifetime membership. I was doing great and I lost 20lbs, but soon noticed that I was breaking out in these horrible rashes. So, I went to the doctor and was tested for foods that I was allergic to. Turns out, it was something inside most of their food. I went in and politely asked for a refund. They refused to give my money back!! I was so disappointed. I realized they were just greedy for my money and really didn't care for me like they promised in the initial sales pitch.

My experience was the only 'typical' thing about Jenny Craig it seems. I found the counselors young, skinny and inexperienced. I am a middle aged educated woman, I felt patronized and everything that was said to me was from a script. The first thing that I was asked was "are you excited about the prospect of never having to diet again!" Oh, I wish I could believe that would be the case. As for being excited...how can one be excited about going on a diet?
