Oops! I forgot to tell you how discouraged I was when the lady on the DVD I got with my food was SOOOOO overweight. She looked like she could lose a good 40-50 pounds and still be a cow.

I'm on Day 6 with Jenny Craig today, and I wish I'd known about this thread! I only weighed 120 at start and had 12 pounds to lose. I'm only 5'2". I purchased the program on a Friday night. On Saturday, I decided I didn't want the program so I called to cancel. I told the salesperson that I only had 10-12 pounds to lose and that I didn't think it was worth the money for that small amount.

This salesperson actually told me that she *guaranteed* I would lose 6 to 8 pounds in the first two weeks of the program (I don't think they're supposed to do this). Well, Day 6 and I'm only down 2 pounds. Not too bad, you say? Well, the day I started the program was my TOM, so I usually drop 2 pounds when it's over anyway.

So the gist of the story is: I've been following this stupid diet to a T, and I've basically lost nothing. I've been on the elliptical trainer for 30 minutes every day. I haven't even been eating any of those "free" or "limited" foods.

The food is not terrible compared to some I've had, but I do not want to eat three different kinds of vegetables and a salad at every stinking meal, and I LOVE salad.

As for cost of food, which was supposed to be less than what I was currently spending according to the counselor, I spent $304 for two weeks worth plus shipping. Shipping was $65. Yes, you read that right.

I wonder if I can get my money back since my counselor *guaranteed* that I'd lose the weight (with not disclaimer)?

Well, thank you all. I was also considering Jenny Craig, but now I will look at other options. My cousin lost 30lbs on nutrisystem, so I think I will try that one. Thanks to all
