I joined Jenny Craig with a life time membership, but was never told there was a "special" going on that could have saved me $200.00, there was minimum counseling, and the food was way more expensive than I told it to be. I feel like I was not told the truth about the whole program and am very dissatisfied with Jenny Craig.

I agree that the food is expensive but I wouldn't refer anyone to Nutri System either. I've tried Nutri System a few years ago and found the food was awful--you eat it because you are hungry not because it taste good! I tried it again a few months ago thinking from their commercials that the food might be improved--WRONG! The food taste like cardboard and it all taste the same no matter what they call it. I'm going to give Jenny Craig another try since their food is actually a little better and believe it or not a little cheaper than NutriSystem. Nutrisystem gives you those two weeks free and what they give you for free are the least popular sellers--buffalo chicken wrap that tasted disgusting and turkey hot dogs which didn't even look appealing!--then the catch--if you cancel without fulfilling the first three months--they stick it to you with an additional $50 tab because you cancelled and they charge you for the free food they sent the first month! At least with Jenny Craig you can pick your choices and they can help you control the cost if you ask them.

Jenny Craig food is so much better than Nutrasystem. I only lasted a month on Nutrasystem, because the food was so disgusting, I dreaded my next meal. I was always hungry and I hated the lack of support. I love Jenny Craig. The food is excellent, and I see myself making goal on this program. The food is very filling and is no more expensive than Nutrasystem. I like the fact that I can go to a center and have weekly weighins and that I can talk to a counselor for added support. Jenny Craig has a maintaince program too. I plan to become a lifetime member with Jenny Craig. The cost is about $15 per day for Jenny Craig food. I paid about $400/ month with Nutrasystem and since I had to order 1 month at a time if I really hated on of the meals, I was stuck with it until the following month. With Jenny Craig, I have not had a meal or snack that wasn't good, but if I did find something I didn't care for I would only have to eat it once then I could change the next week. My thought is Jenny Craig is a far better tasting and worth the money program than Nutrasystem. Nutrasystem food is so gross, I would rather stay fat than eat that garbage.
