Jenny Craig Reviews

Ive tried Jenny and Nutrisystem,

Sure Nutrisystem food is cheaper but Nutrisystem food is disgusting. They say they give you 2 weeks free but do you get to pick that 2 weeks of food? No! They sent me food I would not chose. Tuna casserole etc everything is freeze dried crap. although I must say that the hamburger pattie that you add water too was pretty tasty. Plus no weigh ins or support like Jenny Craig gives you. You have no incentive to stick to the diet.

Jenny Craig Food is tasty. they have frozen selections as well as delicious soups and packaged foods that you keep in the cupboard. No adding water. The snack selection is fantastic They give your great support week to week and the incentive to watch what you eat because you have to step on that scale every week really helps you watch what you eat. They really want you to succeed. Nutrisystem just want you to buy their food you dont get any support except online support (oh that works-----NOT!!!!)

So I did 6 weeks of Nutri System total LBS Lost ""ZERO"" compared to 6 weeks of Jenny 15 Ponds Gone. I continued Jenny and ended up losing 40LBS Total. Now I am on Maintenance I select what I want from Jenny's food list and 3 days on my own. . Some weeks I just order the Breakfast Lunch and snacks and make dinners on my own. This is real helpful for the work week

Jenny Craig is expensive, yes. But all of the food is very good and extremely convenient. I have also used NutriSystem and although much cheaper it is also less palatable and difficult to continue for an extended period of time. Many NutriSystem meals also consist of nothing but a bar but all Jenny Craig meals are just that-meals. Jenny Craig is available for on-line purchase and a previous comment regarding the individual cost of foods is not accurate. At the center you are given a receipt with individual pricing on it. The counselors at Jenny Craig are also one-time clients who have reached their goal with the program just like us.

It bothers me to no end that J.C commercials feature celebrity "clients" Its a no brainer that if you pay someone, give them the food and all the bells and whistles for free that they will loose weight. These people have at their disposal everything needed to be successful. I'm sure it's not just J.C. that is helping them loose the weight, somewhere tucked behind the gimick is a personal trainer and stylist. Then once they start shedding pounds per week they are thrown in our faces like this could happen to us if we just join J.C. What a load of Hollywood B.S. How discouraging it is to ones like myself who can't spend hundreds & hundreds of dollars for prepared meals, a personal consultant and everything else they try to SELL. It's propoganda and it sets people up for results that they can't afford to attain. I'd have more respect for J.C. if they'd stop pushing spokespersons that are not like their targeted audiance. Hey how about using people that are real people from their centers they have plasterd in every strip mall? Don't waste your time or money. You are better off with a visit to your family doctor and asking for help.
