Jenny Craig Reviews

okay, my experience is quite similar to everyone else.

- I went in with high expectations and feeling like I was at the end of my rope. The director I met with was very good at playing off those feelings. She talked me into a very expensive plan ($350) plus food. She was very motivating.

- First week, I lost 9 lbs, and I was very excited and motivated.

- Second week, I faltered a little, and my weightloss was zero the second week. I went in thinking my counselor would help me. Her response, "lets get back on the wagon....what would you like to order this week". No motivation, the director popped in and was more motivating then my counselor.

- Third week, gained one lb. I was having trouble staying focused, was a little bored, and having a lot of trouble staying motivated. My counselor could have cared less. She had nothing to say that made any impact.

- By the fourth week, I was over $700 into this program with about a 7 lb weighloss. Hmmm..$100 per lb.

Looking back, I now see the problems with this program. High pressure pitch to a desperate to lose weight person. Expensive, and I mean expensive food that is actually okay. The counselors really could care less, and they never really talked about exercise which is paramount in any weightloss program.

Wow! What can I say? You basically all said exactly what I was feeling.

I tried the Jenny Craig system and when I walked in I had a goal set in my mind. I figured I would only pay for losing 50 lbs. I wanted to try the program in small increments, just in case I just didn't like the program. I didn't want to put out a huge amount of money for the 100 lbs+ program.

Boy what a huge selling ploy! I was practically brow-beaten into buying a bigger program, as they pitched, in order to save money, since I would have to be on it for so long. Thank goodness I didn't fall for that. I tried the program, but after the second week, got bored with the repetitive food, and basically quit.

Started on Nutri-System, doing M-F on and weekends off. I am proud to say that I have been very successful and in about 2 months time I have now lost just under 40lbs. And I don't feel like I have suffered at all. Skip Jenny and go straight to Nutri-System. It will save you time, money, and embarrasment.

Watch out for counselors in Florida. They are wicked and evil. Only out for the money.
