Review In a Nutshell
Founded in 1971, Lindora is a Southern California-based weight management company with 34 clinics spread out across five counties. The Lindora “Lean for Life” program is described as medically based and clinically proven. Clients’ weight loss programs are supervised by a doctor, and clinical trials in obesity-related health issues are run through the company. The goal of the program is to modify your eating habits and lifestyle, but the program also promises rapid weight loss and uses a modified version of a high-protein, low carbohydrate approach which they call “smart carb.” The program lasts for ten weeks, including eight weeks of weight loss and two weeks of “metabolic adjustment.” In addition to the face-to-face clinic appointments, there are also telephone and online-based versions of the program available to non-locals, with a similar emphasis on expert support and guidance from a “nurse educator.”
How Does It Work?
The “Lean for Life” program is essentially the same whether you’re going to the clinic or using the online or phone versions; a clinic evaluation will include bloodwork testing, blood pressure analysis, and body composition analysis. The diet itself is low-carb and low fat (about 50 -100 carbs per day for the first part of the program). Moderate exercise like walking is recommended, with the suggested goal of 10 000 steps or 3-5 miles a day. (You are encouraged to wear a pedometer while on the program).
Who Is It Good For?
Considering that Lindora emphasizes medical supervision and rapid weight loss, the “Lean for Life” program is probably a good choice for those who are dangerously obese and require medical monitoring to achieve their weight loss safely. Likewise someone with health issues that may complicate a weight loss plan will appreciate the medically-oriented approach.

Hi, I've battled my own weight loss for years and have experience with hundreds of weight loss programs and fad diets. When forming my list of the
Actually, I have an appointment with them on Monday and all their programs are 50% off right now.
I have been on the program for 11 weeks. In my first 10 weeks I lost 36 pounds. This program works. As far as cost, ask yourself, “Can I put a price on successful weight loss?” It is about $1400 for the first 10 weeks. If you need a second 10 weeks its about $700.
The best thing about this program is they teach you how to eat, not just while you are on the program, but, truly, for life. I look at food MUCH differently today than before the program. I exercise every day for at least 45 minutes and up to 1 hour 45 min on the weekend. I split my time between the treadmill and the elliptical machine.
The MOST IMPORTANT part of this program and the only way it will work for you, is that you truly have to be mentally ready for the change. I havent had any kind of rice, pasta, or dessert since I started………and I dont miss them!!!. The staff is friendly and encouraging. Whether you decide to use Lindora or not, I wish for everyone that reads this to be successful in the weight loss program of their choice. YOU CAN MAKE IT HAPPEN!!!!
To the person thinking about this program, I myself am also thinking about joining this program and researching other people’s results. I called their office yesterday and the price is $1900 for 10 weeks and if you don’t lose all the weight you want to in those 10 weeks then its an additional $600 for another 10 weeks. They are running a special of 30% off til the end of November and it comes down to $1400ish. They also offer a payment plan of $880 down and $99 a week. I am definitely considering it myself…..best of luck to you!
