I am a 52 year old man, and I have lost 103 pounds (so far) on Nutrisystem. I want to lose 43 more, but we will see. Friends that I have not seen in a while do not know who I am. I have found that if I stay true to the program I lose weight and feel better. I am a type 2 Diabetic and I have taken my A1C level from 8.7 to 5.4 which has allowed me to stop taking my oral Diabetes medication and for that I am grateful. The medication made me feel ill often. When I started the program I wore 50 waist pants and I was straining them at best. The Diabetes was a wake-up call to do "something" and I have tried many different diets with great success at first, only to gain the weight loss plus ten to twenty more pounds go keep them company. Portion control and not skipping meals has been one of the lessons learned through this program. Good luck to everyone in their journey to better health!

I have been on nutrisystem for 6 days and love the taste of the food. I have also lost 5 pounds already! Need to lose a total of 35 pounds that have been added over the past 10 years. Never had to diet before. I started out only eating the meals and snacks they send you but after talking to the reps at nutrisystem who were very very pleasant and helpful they advised me to eat all the foods like the vegs, dairy, and fruit that is not supplied. After adding in the extra foods which I thought I would not be a to consume all of it, they let me know this helps in weight loss to speed up your metabolism It really worked. Also learned you can use v-8 juice low sodium as a veg replacememt. All the food is great tasting.
