I've just ordered my food on Friday. I was on nutrisystem in 92 when I was in college and I lost about 40lbs. Of course it's back because of my bad habits. I can hardly wait to get my food so that I can drop 40lbs before age 40 in May, and 60 by the end of the summer. All the best to everyone!!!

I want to thank everyone so much for your comments on this page. I am 5'1", 159 pounds, and about to turn 26 in April. All of the women in my family struggle with weight. My 44 yr old mother weighs close to 300lbs, and was recently diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes. Watching my mother yoyo diet my entire life has had a huge impact on how i see myself, and how i deal with food.
4 years after college and 4 years on active duty in the Air Force has gotten me little more than 30 pounds, 2-3 pants sizes gained (snug 10, usually 12), two medicine cabinets full of failed diet pills, and low confidence after exercise has gotten me nowhere. I have been eyeing the nutrisystem program for years, and never thought i could afford it. But tonight, after eating my standard one meal a day, usually comfort foods to bandaid another lonely saturday night, i know i have to make a change. For myself and for my two younger sisters- who both struggle as well. I've never been this big, and my lower self esteem has me sitting in the house on weekends rather than enjoying the life of a single woman in her 20s. I'm proud of my curves, and my naturally very muscular legs and hips, but I need to take better care of myself- eat more frequently, and easily (i'm a flyer so working 12-14 hour days isn't always conducive to eating regular meals) .
I'm waiting for my order page to come up right now, and i hope to update you all with my progress in a couple of weeks. Thank you so much for the words of encouragement. My goal is to lose about 30 pounds, or get back to my college days size 6- i know I'll never be model thin, nor do i want to be (good lord i hope my boobs don't shrink!!). To those other folks out there on the fence- don't be afraid like i've been. Denial is an ugly place to be while the weight continues to pack on. To those of you who are mothers, please be aware of how your relationship with food can impact your children. I am living proof that it will carry on in them as well. Hang in there, and congrats to everyone who's had such great success. I hope to join you!!

After being overweight my whole life, I decided to try Nutrisystem and be "fit by 50". My husband said he would do it with me. Yesterday was our one year anniversary on it. My husband lost 75 pounds and I lost 90. I went from a size 20 to an 8. My husband a 40 pant to a 32. It has been the easiest thing I have ever done. We are on the weekends-off program so we still eat out on both days but try to eat healthier. We have started to exercise and that has obviously helped. We are staying with the program as maintenance and have just added extra calories so as not to keep losing. I would recommend the program to anyone who is thinking about it. And I'm only 48!
