I just ordered my first month of food and I am so excited. I've been needing to lose weight for a while now, but have continued to put it off. It's time to start looking and feeling better. All of your reviews on this site have been so encouraging and I am really happy for everyone. Here's to the new me!! Continued luck and success to everyone!

I ordered Nutrisystem over the weekend and it came by Wednesday. Today was my first day. The meals aren't refrigerated or frozen. They are sealed. It makes it very easy. I had soup today and all I had to do was add boiling water to the container it came in, let it sit for 10 mins. and it was ready. You can take these foods with you anywhere anytime. I like that about it. I haven't even eaten all that I am supposed to eat yet. It's 8:45pm and I don't think I'm going to. It costs 300 dollars a month. I spend way more than that just eating out and stuff. The money was a no brainer. I have tried every diet you can imagine. I really needed a huge boost this go around. I needed meals to be easy with minimal preparation. I didn't need to be "thinking" too much about it. When I think too much about diet, I eat more. It becomes an obsession. My fear of course is, will I keep it off. That is really up to me. My husband suggested that if I find myself gaining again to just order another month. why not? I'm not spending more money on food. The food is very healthy. why not? I would like to lose 40 pounds but 50 would be even better.

I'm on day 14 of nutrisystem, I'm a 30 year old female with 40 lbs to lose, I lost 9 lbs. I follow the simple work out dvd it came with, and don't even eat all the foods that are allowed daily. I'm never hungry and if i ever find myself feeling hungry, it's time to eat again anyway. The food is pretty good. If you choose the favorites instead of choosing your own food, be prepared that they send a lot of breakfast cereal and a lot of granola bars for lunch which i am not crazy about. I like the eggs, I like the oatmeal, most of the pastas,except the cheese ravioli, gross! most of the soups are good, I like the black bean tortilla soup, the veggie fajitas are too spicy for me. It's really not that bad. So far, I'm sticking to it. I only cheated New years Eve by eating chips and guacamole (my weakness) and drinking. 9 lbs isn't bad for 14 days... I recommend it to anyone looking to lose weight who just does not have time to plan out foods daily. No diets pills required which is good. The trick is really sticking to it and making the portions a life style, not a diet. You also get to eat plenty of salad and fruit and yogurt and CHEESE!! and lunch meat (though not a lot) I rarely have cravings for stuff I can't eat. Good luck!
