While I can say that the diet works - I am not 100% satisfied over all. From day one my order was missing items, then I got some moldy items which grossed me out!! I returned my last package well over a month ago and still have not gotten my refund : ( I would not say this is a long term diet as you will get bored with the food. They do not offer enough to not get bored. I lost 20 pounds doing both Nutrisytem then a standard 1200 cal diet. Nutrisystem helpe me get started and was great at first.

About 18 months ago I had lapband surgery and lost 45 pounds the first year. After that the weight starting creeping back up. Five weeks ago I started on Nutrisystem and have lost 10 pounds. Most of the foods are good; I have eliminated the ones I don't like. Overall, the program seems to be working for me.

I am 5'1", and graduated highschool at 115 pounds 17 years ago. Four babies later, I am weighing in at 156. I have tried Adkins, but was unable to stick with it because it was a total deprivation of carbohydrates, even good ones. I started nutrisystem three days ago. So far I am pleased with the taste of the food, and look forward to trying a new meal everyday. The cheesy potatos rock, and adding boca burger crumbles really make it an easy way to add a protein. I work nights, so the convienance of having everything ready is really great. I already feel more energized and I noticed my scrub pants were already less tight. I have not weighed myself since I started, but I am optimistic. The counselors were very helpful, and the information they send with your meals is easy to follow. I am learning portion control, and eating healthier than I have in years. I would like to lose about 35 pounds, and for once I feel as though I am on a program that will help me reach my goal in a healthy and realistic way. I will keep you posted, but so far I have nothing bad to say.
