I have been on Nutrisystem for 4 weeks now and am down 20 pounds. You find out quickly which of their foods you like and can adjust your autoship easily for the next time. The best thing is that you are not hungry and are not thinking about food all the time. It is miraculous! Small portions and yet you are satisfied. I don't know how they do it but it works!

My mom was on Nurtisystem and she lost about 80 pounds it was amazing. The minutes she got off the food she doubled her weight back.

I did Jenny Craig for several months once and really enjoyed the food, but couldn't get over the price. So a few years later when that pesky 20 pounds had returned, I signed up for Nutri System since it was a fraction of the cost. As a life-long foodie, I think I finally met my match. This food was simply inedible. Not only that, it gave both me and my husband (I sucked him into also) terrible gas! Trying to stick with it, I did one re-order, ordering a buch of yummy granola they had. Didn't get a single bag of granola. Since they reserve the right to substitute, I got a bunch of powdered egg packets instead. Yuck. Was not worth the hassle of returning. Went back to Jenny Craig. Yes, it's expensive, but the food is actually quite good. I would recommend that people deciding between the two should try NutriSystem first just for the lower cost. If you can stomach it, great. If not, do the trial period at Jenny Craig and if it works for you the way it does for me, it's worth it.
