The points-based method of Weight Watchers is outdated and doesn’t go far enough to promote healthy lifestyle changes. For better success, stick with diets like Nutrisystem or Medifast Diet.

Weight Watchers Reviews

After participating in WW since 2004, I can attest that it is a healthy, effective, safe program that stresses lifestyle changes for a better life. Frankly, I find it hard to believe that it ranks 16 out of 18 on this list since I know that doctors recommend it highly and I have observed first hand many, many satisfied members. The overabundance of negative responses here do not make sense.

I agree with the other posters. I lost weight and became a lifetime WW member about 1991 on the exchange plan. It was easy to use the little weekly checklists for your exchanges.

I went back to WW after the Points system was implemented. It was way too much work to count points. I've found on the web that many of us feel that way. I wish they'd bring back the exchange option.

I purchased several Smart Ones Weight Watcher Frozen meals for my lunch at work. I microwaved the Chicken Piccata. Upon opening the Chicken Piccata with Wild Rice to stir it and place it back in the microwave, I noticed a large curled fly larvae (maggot) lying on top of the rice. I immediately lost my appetite, and called my local health department who then told me to call the Department of Agriculture because the meal had chicken. It will be three weeks on Friday, and I still have not heard from them. The dinner is still in the freezer at work. I called the Heinz company wherein, they apologized. A few days later, I received a formal letter of apology and coupons. That is a royal slap in the face. I cannot bring myself to eat packaged foods. As a matter of fact, I have not eaten any form of meat since that day. On the day I discovered the maggot, my co-workers took the frozen dinner out of the freezer and stirred it....and discovered more maggots. I am physically ill just thinking about it. How in the world, can a company be nonchalant about its products and not give two squirts about its consumers?

I have about twenty dollars worth of frozen meals I have thrown out at home because of this!".....
