The points-based method of Weight Watchers is outdated and doesn’t go far enough to promote healthy lifestyle changes. For better success, stick with diets like Nutrisystem or Medifast Diet.

Weight Watchers works, if you work it. It is not mindless eating, it is accountability and taking control of portions. Yes, it requires a little planning ahead. I have lost 50 pounds on the program and have maintained for four years now.

I totally disagree..Weight Watchers is all about portion sizes..eating any food , but in a certain portion...excellent diet..

I would like to say that I went to a Weight Watchers location on Jan. 19th, it will be two years ago. To date, I have lost 50 pounds. I have kept the 50 pounds off for one year. I have tried a lot of other diets and Weight Watchers has worked for me.

The key to this program is "writing everything you put in your mouth" down on paper. I walk around with scraps of paper in my pocket because I am not a book person. The program does not make us fail, but we do have to find out how to make it work for ourselves. Good luck to people who loose weight and keep it off! It's a life change, everyday. I plan to stay like this. I have spent too much money on new clothes to go back to my old habits. Yes, I do eat junk food, in moderation. We must be aware of what and how much we eat.
