The points-based method of Weight Watchers is outdated and doesn’t go far enough to promote healthy lifestyle changes. For better success, stick with diets like Nutrisystem or Medifast Diet.

I believe its all about will power, I lost 153 pounds with weight watchers and also worked out 3 days a week with a personal trainer, It took me 2 years and I felt great, But after reaching my goal I stopped both and of course i've gained back, so far 35 pounds.
WW didn't teach me enough, but i also have to take responsibility for my actions, If I want it bad enough I'll keep it off If I don't I won't. The only one I have to blame is myself
From what I'm reading nutrisystem sounds like the best deal.

I don't think Weight Watchers goes far enough teaching lasting lifestyle changes. Their program is so focused on points (and food in general) that they miss the root of the problem -- bad eating habits and/or turning to food for happiness.
Food should be fuel to live our lives, not something we obsess about all day, like where to eat, what to eat, how much I need to starve myself today so I can gorge myself tomorrow... We have it all backwards in America and it's no wonder 2 out of 3 people are overweight. Eat to live, not live to eat.
I think diets like Nutrisystem and Jenny are much better, because they teach portion control and reinforce healthy eating habits. Habits you can carry with you the rest of your life.
WW doesn't teach these lifestyle skills, probably because they need your lifetime of membership fees.
